Beta-sitosterol
Type: Plant Sterol
Beta-sitosterol is a plant sterol that maintain healthy cholesterol levels and reduce symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia.
By mimicking the structure of cholesterol, Beta-sitosterol naturally lowers LDL-cholesterol levels, thereby reducing the risk of heart diseases.
Beta-sitosterol is also often used to reduce symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (an enlarged prostate), which can cause problems with urination control and frequency in men. By reducing prostate swelling and inflammation, Beta-sitosterol can ease discomfort and reduce urination urges.
