Resveratrol is a type of plant compound called polyphenol and can be found in the skins and seeds of red grapes, berries, peanuts and red wine.
It is known to act as a strong antioxidant, which is helpful in managing risk of cardiovascular diseases (e.g. lower blood pressure and cholesterol level), reducing risk of cancer, maintaining brain health and managing diabetes by increasing insulin sensitivity.
